Multi colors play in this beautiful Idaho opal set in a 14k gold band. The swirls on the sides add some femininity but does not take-away from the beauty of this 8x6 opal. Currently, this ring is size 6.5 but we are able to size if for an additional charge. This Idaho opal triplet was creatd by adding a thin layer crystal clear quartz on top of a thin layer of opal, then mounted on a basalt backing. This layering makes the gem more durable for regular wear, though due to the glue, it still needs handled with care like all opals do.
